NPP MPs Now Want To Redeem The Image Of Parliament After Dragging It To The Mud Sampson Ahi

The National Democratic Congress [NDC] Member of Parliament [MP] for Bodi, Sampson Ahi has said he wasn’t surprise when the minority NPP exhibited maturity in parliament during President Mahama’s State of the Nation Address on Thursday.

The minority NPP have always heckled the president anytime he appears in parliament to communicate.

This has been a routine by the NPP since late President Mills’s era and veers to President John Dramani Mahama over the years.

But President Mahama’s Thursday State of the Nation Address was prolific without any “Oooo’s and boos” from the opposition NPP.

However, discussing the minority comportment on OKAY FM’s "Ade Akye Bia" programme, Sampson Ahi opined that, the minority do not need any applauds from what they did.

According to him, the NPP over the years have “disgraced” the august house by their unacceptable hecklings and “childish” behavior.

“They [NPP] now want to redeem the image of parliament after dragging it to the mud. They should have known this long ago. Because of their behavior, Ghanaians don’t respect the house” he said
