National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament for Nungua Krowor in the Greater Accra Region, Okley Quaye Kumah has dispelled rumours that he has passed on.
The MP said in an interview with newsmen that he is well and attended church service this morning.
"I am not dead, I am in Ghana as I speak...," he said.
News that made round on social media indicated that the veterinary doctor had passed on in the USA this morning.
Many tributes started pouring in for him.
His wife, Mrs Quaye-Kumah also expressed shock at the news.
But the MP said he has not been well for about two months now.
Dr. Quaye Kumah alleged that his death rumours may come from members of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) inthe Krowor constituency.
"Im sure is from within the consituency because these Nungua people if they want something and you dont give them, they say all manner of things about you" he bemoaned.
