Former Chief Scribe of the NPP, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie is pleading with the Assin Central Member of Parliament, Hon Kennedy Agyapong to reconsider his decision to abandon his seat come 2016.

According to Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie affectionately called “Sir John” in politics, he was “saddened” when informed about Kennedy Agyapong’s decision.

“I was saddened…in fact I cried when I heard the news but I hope Ken will listen to some of us and rethink again,” he said on Okay FM’s "Ade Akye Ebia" morning show. 

Some Assin Central traditional rulers have beseeched the NPP fire branded man not to leave his post voluntarily as planned.

Kennedy Agyapong according to reports has vowed not to contest his seat again but it is however not clear if he will leave the NPP after his recent attack on the NPP describing the party and its members as “useless, bustards and idiots”.

The NPP bankroller is loved for screaming corruption in government. He is the loudest voice in the NPP.

Kennedy ones said “Even if the NPP is represented by a goat in Assin Central against the NDC in any election, the goat will win”.
