Ghana music can now boast of a solid new addition to the industry with the outdooring of a sensational and multi-talented musician who is poised to take Ghana music to another level. Teddy�s songs are just soothing for all love people and perhaps people who don�t even believe in love. Teddy Addy Safori, born in the early 1980�s in akropong akuapim, is out with four hot singles anticipated to project the fresh talent to a sustainable point of recognition. The songs include �looking for love�, �I wanna know�, �I don�t want to be right� and �betrayal�. �My objective is to preach about love and let the world see and appreciate love� he said in a press statement. According to Teddy, he intends to use music as a mouthpiece to cure all love related issues. �The dream is to see millions of people be happy n replace hate with love�, he added. �I believe music is the only food for the soul therefore it always has to be fed with carefully selected ingredients and a well-balanced diet and that is a well and carefully selected lyrics and a balanced rhythm and melody so anytime I am writing my songs I think first of my soul and what it will satisfy it�, he concluded. At age 6, He could sing the favorite songs of the chief of his home town and made him win the heart and love of the chief, at every lunch time the chief will sit with him and hear him sing his favorite songs. At age 8 he migrated with his whole family to Accra the capital city of Ghana and joined the Ghana Police Church Junior Choir, He sung tenor and alto until He was made the Lead Vocalist. He led his choir to win the District, Regional and National ALL CHOIRS COMPETITION which they had been the 1st runners up for 3 years in a row. He was selected among 20 children to sing the National Anthem of Ghana with the composer Ephraim Amu during an Independence Day celebration. He also joined his school (SERVICES BASIC SCHOOL) choir and led them to win various awards such as THE ARMED FORCES MELODIES, ALL JUNIOR HIGH GOSPEL EXPLOSIVE, THE AFRICAN VOICE and THE NATIONAL JUNIOR HIGH MUSIC FESTIVAL. In 1998 he performed at the Golden Tulip Children�s Play Back Show and placed 1st Runner up. In 2005 he formed a 3 man group known as TOO NATURAL and took part in the NESCAFE AFRICAN REVELATION talent hunt which they placed 3rd, in 2007 He and the group represented Gt. ACCRA and won both the regional and national final. He helped his group to compose beautiful Highlife songs till he finally realized his dream and passion for SOUL, COUNTRY and RNB songs. It looked and seemed impossible especially from the part of the world he comes from and the preferred choice n kind of music but it was not for the fame or money but for the few that were ready to embrace and love good music. He wrote songs about his love life, the sweet and memorable moments, the painful and unforgettable times and the general lessons of life. With no management or record deal, he has managed to sell his story out there and still pursuing the dream.
