Mahama 'disrespected' Rawlings, Kufour achievements - Minority Leader

Minority Leader, Osei-Kyei Mensah Bonsu has described as unfair and uncharitable President John Mahama's claim the Presidents before him only managed the country out of power crisis.

According to him, the current President by was not true to the facts as statistics inficate that Rawlings and Kuffour added more power to the country's energy generation than him.

President Mahama at the 2015 State of the Nation Address said he unlike his predecessors would fic the energy crisis instead of managing it. "I owe it to the good people of Ghana, I John Mahama would fix the energy crisis...," the President said. But the claim, Kyei Mensah Bonsu said was not true since the two combined contributed more than half of the country's energy needs.

Jerry John Rawlings, he said added 580 MW with John Kuffour adding 1698 MW. These megawatts, he said are evidences of their contributions.

Offering various synonyms to thd word 'fix' as used by the President, the Minority Leader asked the President to come again as it could indicate his unpreparedness to deal with crisis.
