Woyome Hits Newspaper Stands

An Accra High Court on Thursday, 12th March, 2015, dismissed all two charges leveled against businessman Alfred Agbesi Woyome.

Woyome was charged with causing financial loss to the state and defrauding by false pretense.

The Court led by Justice John Ajet-Nassam said the Attorney General and her team of lawyers provided weak evidence.

Several Ghanaians have reacted to this in different ways. Some have written statements to condemn the ruling and others have wondered if the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) have the guts to fight corruption.
