Newly appointed Asante Kotoko coach David Duncan has revealed his decision not to coach any local Club after his stay with the Porcupine Warriors.
 
General Manager of Asante Kotoko, Opoku Nti has revealed the coach has no intention of taking up a local Club after his term with the Ghana Champions.

Duncan who is currently in Algeria with Kotoko signed a two-year deal with the Ghanaian giants.

The former Accra Hearts of Oak has however decided not to take charge of any Club in the domestic League after his stint with the “Kumapem” Club.

“I have been talking with Duncan behind closed doors and we talk about many things,” Opoku Nti told Happy Fm.

“I am not surprised he joined Asante Kotoko because from what he told me you can see he is a passionate lover of the Club”

“The only thing am surprised about is that he said he will not coach any team in Ghana after Kotoko”

“He said he has no intention of coaching another local club after Kotoko and that is a surprise to me”

Duncan is expected to help Kotoko regain their glory following the Clubs dwindling fortunes in the First Capital Plus Premier League.

The astute Ghanaian tactician have chalked great success with Premier League sides Great Olympics, Sekondi Hasaccas, Ashanti Gold and Hearts of Oak on the domestic scene.

 The 51-year-old also had a short stint with South Africa outfit Free State Stars.
