Renowned designer, Ophelia Crossland has announced her fashion house interest to work in the costume department of Ghana’s movie industry. According to Ophelia, it had been 12 years since she launched her Ophelia Crossland designs.

The brand keeps growing stronger every year and this year, she is looking at giving some serious attention to Ghana’s movie industry. She has already handled costume for Shirley Frimpong Manso’s directed movie, Love Or Something Like That featuring Joselyn Dumas and John Dumelo. She won an award at Ghana Movie Award for that job and also got a nomination at the just ended Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award in Nigeria. “After the AMVCA nomination, Ghana Movie Award and winning a couple of other related award, the movie industry is one of the areas we want to specialize in. Kofi’s NINETEEN57 is presently working on a project with Yvonne Okoro for a new production she is working on.

So it is one of the areas we have an interest in now. But then we just don’t want to accept any script. Once we know it is of a certain quality, we will go ahead and do it,” Ophelia announced on Saturday. Ophelia Crossland remains one of Ghana’s renowned fashion brands doing very well. Married to presenter extraordinaire, KOD with a beautiful family, Ophelia is expected to also launch her upcoming collection line very soon.
