PPP Ready To Enter Parliament With 10 Seats - Charles Owusu

The Progressive People’s Party is leaving no stone unturned as far the 2016 general elections is concerned. On Saturday 21st March, 2016, the PPP would hold a regional conference in the Western Region to elect executives who lead them into the impending elections.

The elections would begin at 9am and would be held at the Zenith Hotel.   

In an interview with Mr. Charles Owusu, who a member of the party’s communications team, he stated that they have set their eyes on winning not less than ten (10) Parliamentary seats in the Western Region.

For this reason, he reveals that they have kick started a project dubbed ‘Operation Winning 2016 Elections’ and are inviting electorates to come and register with them at the hotel on Saturday .

Since its formation in 2012, the PPP managed to pull 64,267 popular votes in the 2012 general elections with Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom as the flagbearer and Ms. Eva Lokko as the running mate, making it the third largest Political party and the 2nd largest opposition party in Ghana.
