"I Dont Give A Damn, Anybody Who Wants To Harm Me May Do So - Martin Amidu

Former Attorney General, Martin Amidu has denied media claims that he has been attacked and burgled.

According to the reports,  Martin Amidu also known as “Citizen vigilante” was burgled at his home on Monday morning.

Speaking on the Citi Breakfast Show however, Mr Martin Amidu warned those peddling such falsehood to “stop,” since according to him, crying wolf could later harm him when there is real attack later.

“This morning around 6:26am, a friend with the United Cadres front called me with an alarm that they had heard that I have been attacked and burgled and I said no, I haven’t even gone out and I don’t think there is been anything in my house so if there is such a rumour its false,” he insisted.

“Then when I opened the house, nothing had been taken from my house, then I went to open the main gate, a neigbour was standing there… saying you’ve been burgled so I’m coming to find out,” he narrated.

He warned that “Whosoever is doing this should stop it because we will do this and the day the real wolf comes and we cry wolf everybody will ignore it but no one has attacked me…”

Martin Amidu has been very vocal in the controversial GH¢51 million judgment debt paid businessman, Alfred Agbesi Woyome.

He revealed that he was burgled twice in 2014 after making similar statements on the matter and reported at the Madina Police Station but “nothing” has come out of the investigations yet.

He was however quick to add that “I have said that I don’t give a damn, anybody who wants to harm me may do so.”
