Black Queens Players To Receive $11 Each As a Promise From Kwesi Nyantakyi

The players of the senior national female team are expected to receive $200 after scoring two goals against Zimbabwe in the All African games qualifiers.

The Black Queens of Ghana will receive a token $200 from the President of Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi after he promised the players $100 per each goal against Zimbabwe in the first-leg qualifiers of the All African games at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Nyantakyi visited the team on Friday ahead of their final training session to motivate the ladies and he promised them that he will pay the $100 per every goal scored against Zimbabwe.

Agnes Aduako and Samira Suleman were on target for Ghana either side of half time before Emmaculate Msipa made sure her 72nd minute free kick beat Ghana goalkeeper Fafali Dumashi to end the game 2-1 and hand the visitors a crucial away goal ahead of the second leg.

Each Black Queens player who was selected for the game is expected to receive $11 aside their winning bonus.

Their male counterparts, the Black Stars, however, receive huge amount of money from corporate bodies to encourage them to score a lot of goals. The latest sponsor is the insurance company GLICO, who promised every goal at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations will earn the team $1000-$1500 as they progressed to medal zone of the competition.

Ghana will travel to Harare in two weeks for the return encounter on April 4.
