Coach Duncan Ready For Kotoko Challenge

Asante Kotoko’s newly-appointed coach, David Duncan, has been unveiled at the club’s Secretariat in Kumasi, assuring the teeming supporters that he will live up to expectation.

He said his goal was to work with dedication and passion in his new job.

“I want to begin my life at Kotoko on a fresh note,  and look up to all stakeholders to rally solidly behind me.”

His call to the fanatic followers to stand with him every step of the way,  came barely 24 hours after the manager appended his signature to a two-year contract.

The coach, notorious for being outspoken, was full of praise for the supporters for their resilience, loyalty and dedication, something that had kept Kotoko going,  and assisted it to achieve many laurels.

“My work at Kotoko will not be complete without the help of supporters,” he said, adding that he will work closely with the management, board and all stakeholders,  to enable the club to live its dreams.

Coach Duncan takes over at a time when the going in the First Capital Plus Premier League is tough for the defending league champions, currently occupying the 14th position on the league table.

He was cautious and would not be drawn into making any promises,  except to ask for massive support, understanding and co-operation.
