The Black Satellites of Ghana will be based in the New Zealand Capital City of Willington at the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup.

Ghana, having been paired alongside Argentina, Panama and Austria in Group B will be based at the Harbour Capital throughout their Group campaign.

Willington has been considered as the second most populous City in the Scandinavian country after Auckland with about 393,600 residents.

The town also has a very humid climate condition with a temperature below 25 °C.

The Black Satellites opens their group campaign against Austria on May 30 at the 36,000 capacity  Wellington Regional Stadium before taking on Argentina at the same venue on June 2 and then wrap-up their group matches with a game against Panama on June 5 at the North Harbour Stadium in Auckland.

The 2015 World Youth Championships kicks start from May 30-June 20.

Coach Sellas Tetteh’s side will be hoping to emulate their impressive performance at the 2009 edition of the competition where they made history as the first ever African country to win the FIFA U20 World Cup.
