Aggrieved Martin Amidu Should Be Ignored Ametor

A communication team member of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has called on party members to ignore the recent comments by former Attorney General Martin Amidu.

According to Eric Ametor Quarmyne, the unfortunate comments by the former AG against the Mahama-led administration are borne out of bitterness.

Martin Amidu since he was relieved off his post has been an ardent critic of the NDC government.

The self-acclaimed citizen vigilante has vowed to expose all corrupt deals in the Mahama-led administration, including the infamous Woyomegate scandal.

But, Ametor Quarmyne on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Monday said the conduct of the former AG is suspect.

He noted that since Martin Amidu was dismissed “he has been a bitter man who is bent on ensuring the NDC loses the 2016 elections”.

The NDC man could not fathom why Mr. Amidu is leaking sensitive information to the public when he swore an oath of secrecy while in office.

“Martin Amidu is an aggrieved man and his only goal is to see the NDC in opposition but he will fail because God is on our side,” he stressed.

Ametor Quarmyne stated unequivocally that his [Amidu] wish will never materialize because the government is focused to deliver the Better Ghana Agenda.
