Ahead of Nigeria's elections on March 28, President John Dramani Mahama has met with key stakeholders in the elections to discuss issues arising out of the ECOWAS monitoring group's reports.

President Mahama who is also the chairman of ECOWAS had a fruitful meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan, General Buhari, the INEC Chairman and Heads of the AU & Commonwealth Observer.

“It is clear that Nigeria is all ready, and will come out of the March 28 elections stronger and much more democratic” the president told journalists after the close door meeting

President Mahama also called on the candidates to accept the results in good faith when they are announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
