Christians Cautioned About False Doctrines

The Reverend Kofi Antwi Boasiako, Resident Pastor of the Pentecost International Worship Centre, Atomic in Accra, has encouraged Christians to fasten their faith in Jesus Christ and not to be deceived by contrary religions.

According to him in seeking for the truth, there is the strong possibility for many people to be deceived into believing falsified stories and doctrines about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which is the bedrock of Christianity.

He asked believers to seek for the truth by constantly reading the Bible and praying to God for direction.

Christianity, he said is religion based on the death of Jesus Christ on the cross to compensate for the sins of the world, and His resurrection as celebrated on Easter, is an occasion that God used to demolish the stronghold of Satan to reconcile the world unto God.

Rev Antwi Boasiako, who was delivering a sermon on the topic: “Transformed to conform to the glorious body of Christ,” during the Easter Sunday Service in Accra, said God would through the resurrection transformed all believers so that they would be like Jesus whom they are imitating on earth.

According to him God’s Words are true and cannot be broken, and whether the world believes it or not the scriptures would be fulfilled and Jesus is coming back again, but this time, to take with Him into Heaven the saints and the dead in Christ.

He made reference to current global difficulties, saying these are no doubt signals of the closeness of the end times and the second coming of Jesus Christ, which has been foretold in the Bible and the “rapture”, where the dead in Christ would be raised to catch up Him in the sky and those living transformed to have incorruptible bodies.

Rev Antwi Boasiako urged Christians to be alert because there is going to be a sudden disappearance of the saints in a supernatural encounter termed the “rapture”, when Jesus Christ Himself would appear physically in the sky and all believers would be lifted up by an unexplainable force to meet Him up into Heaven.

This, he said is true because it has been foretold in the Bible and whether the world believes it or not Gods Word is true and would soon be fulfilled.

The congregation was led in intensive prayers for God’s restoration of the nation and the body of Christ which is currently facing great persecution in various areas around the globe.
