Akufo-Addo Is An Arm-Chair Opposition Leader Ras Mubarak

Acting National Coordinator at the National Youth Authority (NYA), Ras Mubarak, has described New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo as an ‘armchair opposition leader’ who is physically unfit to lead the country.

The 2012 NDC Ablekuma North Parliamentary candidate, who was commenting on claims by the Septuagenarian that the NDC can never achieve their target of 1 million votes in the Ashanti Region, said the NPP opposition leader spoke in vain.

“There he goes again. You can't attack a plan if you don't have a better plan. The armchair opposition leader can dream all he wants…,” he posted on his facebook wall.

Nana Addo at a meeting with Subin Constituency members of the NPP in his Nima home described as a mirage the much touted 1 million vote campaign of the NDC in the Ashanti Region.

Nana Addo further assured the NPP faithful that the party’s leadership has targeted not less than 85% of the popular votes in the Ashanti region, reassuring them that “we will get it in 2016.”

But this promise, the NDC loyalist said in his post would not see the light of day as Nana Addo lacks the physical ability to move around and canvass for votes himself.

“His idea of an opposition leader is sitting at home and receiving guests. Any serious opposition leader would have been out there, hugging babies, shaking hands and selling his alternative message. Alas, Nana is either too proud to do that or physically unprepared for the leg-work that comes with running for public office,” he posted.

He continued that the twice-failed flagbearer by sitting at home and receiving guests, was demonstrating ‘political opportunism’ and behaving like a ‘student politician’ who is immature in what he is doing.

“He demonstrates political opportunism, behaving like a student politician, and frankly that's what he will ever be. He can scoff at the NDC's plan in the Ashanti region, he will never lead a party in government, Insha Allah,” he concluded his post.
