DCE In Sex Scandal

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Tano South in the Brong Ahafo-Region, Bukari Anaba Zakari, has corrupted the public morality of the area, after nude pictures of him believed to have been taken during an adulterous sexual encounter were released into the public domain a few days ago.

The still pictures of the key government official’s nakedness, showing his dangling manhood, offended dozens of residents in the district who wondered how he could scandalise and desecrate his office by taking such selfie and be careless with them.

According sources, the pictures were retrieved from his iPad, with other pictures of a certain woman called Abrewa, in very unpalatable postures.

However the DCE denied ever taking nude pictures of himself, claiming that he had neither a camera phone nor an iPad. He also denied knowing anyone called Abrewa in the area.

“I don’t have a modern phone. It is a traditional phone with a hard keypad; no soft touch,” he told DAILY GUIDE from Bechem, the district capital, yesterday.

He strongly denied that there had been pictures like that and when Daily Guide emailed the compromising nude pictures to him, no response emanated from him again as at press time.

One of the pictures showed the DCE sitting on a Ghana-made sofa and fondling his genitals, while he stood with his erected penis pointing skyward in another, apparently in an action mood.

An opinion leader who spoke to Daily Guide on phone from Bechem said scores of people in the locality who were privy to the government official’s offensive conduct had expressed disappointment in the DCE.

Opinions differed over the exact place where the Tano South DCE, who was said to be nursing an ambition to contest the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries in the Bawku West Constituency in the Upper Region, carried out his alleged immoral acts.

While a source close to the district assembly alleged that Bukari Anaba Zakari slept with the women, some of whom were married, in his office, a couple of residents DAILY GUIDE spoke to thought otherwise.

According to the residents who pleaded anonymity, the DCE might have been taking the women to hotels outside the district, considering his popularity in the area.

When the paper contacted the DCE yesterday via his cell phone, he flatly denied knowledge of the circulation of his nude pictures in Bechem and other communities in the district.

He said he was a responsible grown-up man, had a decent family and would not be that mad to engage in adulterous acts and take nude pictures of himself.

The government official, who boasted of being nominated the best DCE in the country in 2014 by the Ghana Centre for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana), blamed his enemies for concocting and producing the pictures to defame him in their bid to get him out of office.

According to him, as a married man with children and blessed with a house, besides the official residency, he did not remember the last time he slept outside his home, let alone engage in such an immoral act.
