NDC? No Way; PPP Or NPP Would Win 2016 Elections

Those who underestimate the power of the National Democratic Congress in elections do so at their own peril. Data continually collated after elections shows that the party is constantly assured of over 4 million votes during elections.

However, the dynamics is likely to change in 2016, a member of the Progressive People’s Party has observed.

Mr. Charles Owusu, tells Peacefmonline.com that the PPP is poised to overtake both the NDC and NPP as a first choice party in the upcoming general elections.

2016 is going to be a two horse race between the PPP and NPP. The NDC has absolutely no choice than to be relegated”, he predicted.

He counseled Ghanaians to take a cue from the wind of change that recently swept through Nigeria when they visited the polls and gave power to president elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.

Mr. Owusu added that the NPP has tasted power before and messed things up just like the NDC is doing and this leaves Ghanaians with no option than to vote for the PPP.

The PPP scribe believes that voters are now discerning and would vote for political parties not based on what others say but rather on capabilities.

The NDC, in his view, have messed up Ghana’s economy which is the engine for growth and for this reason, does not even deserve to garner any vote.

This NDC government hasn’t been able to pay statutory funds and the National Health Insurance Scheme is also collapsing. These are clear signs that they are going to lose the 2016 elections”, he said.
