NSA Settles $35,000 Debt Owed To Supreme Council For Sport

Ghana’s 2015 All-Africa games participation has received a massive boost after the National Sports Authority [NSA] settled a debt of $35,000 owed to the organizers of the multi-sport competition.

The country’s participation in this year’s competition was hugely in doubt following the amount owed to the coordinators of the competition, the Supreme Council for Sport in Africa.

But information reaching Ghanasportsonline.com indicates that the said amount has been settled which has eventually paved way for the country’s participation in the competition.

This means both the Black Meteors and the Black Queens who have already sealed qualification will be eligible to participate in this year’s event.

Ghana is expected to take part in 15 disciplines at this year’s All-Africa game competition which will be staged in Congo Brazzaville in September.

The country will be engaged in Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Football, Handball, Hockey, Swimming, Table tennis, Tennis, Taekwondo, Judo, Volleyball and Weightlifting.
