Im not an NDC Mole NPP Parliamentary Aspirant

An aspiring Parliamentary candidate of the Ayawaso Central Constituency, Carl Dey, has denied claims that he is illegally seeking to infiltrate the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Carl Dey is being accused by the executives, including former MP for the area, Sheikh I.C Quaye of being a member of the NDC.

When he turned up at the party’s constituency office on Friday to pick up his forms, he was literally heckled by executives.

However speaking on Eyewitness News, Carl Dey categorically denied that he was a member of the NDC.

“I am not a member of the NDC and I want to make it clear. I have always been a member of the NPP. I am known within the region, locally and internationally.

That idea is wrong and it must be dismissed,” he stressed.

Carl Dey was optimistic of his victory in the upcoming primaries, saying “I could win the seat and because I think I could I want to be given the chance.”

He pointed out that he would not have taken the pain to contest the elections if had not done his “underground checks.”

Dey clarified that though he was not denied an opportunity to pick the forms but they were only asked to proceed to the national headquarters where he secured his forms.

“I have my forms as I speak and I will be contesting at the Ayawaso Central Constituency by the grace of God,” he added.
