Communication member of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Charles Owusu has revealed that the Founder of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Akua Donkor is an ex-convict.
Akua Donkor on Asempa FM’s Kukurantumi, Saturday April 25, 2015 threatened to sue the founder of PPP, Dr. Papa Kwasi Nduom over a Tundra car he gave her to campaign with in the 2012 general elections.
The car has since been retrieved, but Mad Akua Donkor claims Dr. Nduom stole the car from her premises without notice. She claims Dr Nduom promised to transfer the vehicle’s ownership into her name after the elections.
Akua bemoaned that she had built a “house” on the bucket of the car, and will be asking the court to compel the PPP founder to return the Tundra vehicle.
However, Charles Owusu in response to Akua Donkor’s threat on Adom TV News Tuesday, April 28 disclosed that she is not of sound mind and is an ex-convict.
Charles Owusu says PPP is ready for her court action.
The PPP communicator says Akua Donkor was convicted of fraud and had served a nine year sentence and “we can verify that from the Ashanti Regional Prisons headquarters”.
He added that Madam Donkor had the intention of stealing the car that is why she is claiming Dr. Nduom agreed to give her the car after the elections.
