Harry Zakour Endorses Kwesi Nyantakyi For Upcoming GFA Elections

Former Accra Hearts of Oak Chairman, Harry Zakour has thrown his support behind the current football association boss, Kwesi Nyantakyi as he prepares for his third term in office as the FA boss.

The former Olympics chairman has in some few months hit hard at the FA boss for not concentrating on developing the local league but rather on the senior national team, Black Stars.

Harry Zakour in an interview with Gold Sports said: ‘’I think the FA boss has gone far with CAF and the nation needs people like him to help Ghana football. I use to fight him in the past but I think he is doing well and I congratulate him for retaining his position at CAF and I will give him the support to retain his seat as the FA president.”

He is my friend and I am like Rawlings, if you are wrong I will tell you and if you are doing the best thing I will congratulate you but for now I think he is doing well. At the moment I think it is too early for people to contest Kwesi Nyantakyi and I think in few years Randy Abbey can take over from him,” he added.
