The Ashanti Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako alias Chairman ‘Wontumi’, on May 1st celebrated his 39th birthday. The grand celebration took place at the Georgia Hotel in Kumasi and it was well patronized by party members.

The whole event was organized by the Ashanti Regional Finance Committee of the NPP headed by Janet Anane; and Hajia Zenaab, the Regional Treasurer.  

Mr. Andy Owusu, a personal aide to the Ashanti Regional Chairman also helped in the organization of the event which would be forever be counted as a blessing by the NPP Chair. All the Regional Executives, Council of Elders and members of the Young Executive Forum (a youth wing of the NPP) were in attendance.

Hon. Gyamfi Emmanuel Akwasi, the MP for Odotobri and Hon Benito Owusu-Bio , the MP for Atwima Nwabiagya North constituency were also there to grace Chairman ‘Wontumi’s’ birthday celebration.

Aside the above personalities, Mr. Kwadwo Boateng Genfi, an aspiring parliamentary candidate for Suame, came out to support Wontumi and surprised him with the birthday cake which was used for the day’s celebration.
