Plot Against Sam George Exposed

Ghanaian Lens preliminary investigations have confirmed reports of an orchestration aimed at intimidating Samuel Nartey George into abandoning his declared intention of contesting Hon. E. T. Mensah at the Primaries for the privilege to represent the Ningo-Prampram constituency on the ticket of the NDC.

At the center of his orchestration is one Nana, who claims to be a media facilitator. At a meeting held in the airport Residential area on Wednesday to hatch plans to publish blatant falsehood and lies about Samuel Nartey George, also known in political circles as Sam Dzata George, the said Nana came to the meeting with an ash-coloured Hyundai Santa Fe with registration number GB 616-12.

There was a follow up meeting which initially started with the said Nana guy who was later joined by the editor of a pro-NPP newspaper. The subject of the meeting was how to develop the malicious agenda of mudslinging against Sam George.

The meeting, our investigations revealed, concluded with a decision to run the story from Monday 4th May 2015. The investigations also revealed that an attempt was made to enlist the support of some NDC serial callers but the serial callers contacted have chosen to remain true to the best interests of the party and not serve any individual’s parochial interest.

Last Thursday, popular afternoon political talk show Ekosi Sen broke the news of the plot when sit-in host, Omanhene Kwabena Asante hinted Sam Dzata George to be careful of the orchestrations aimed at intimidating him.

When Sam George was contacted for comment, he confirmed that he was aware of the plans but would not be drawn into an unnecessary battle with the sitting MP. He hinted that He would use the available avenues within the Party structure to bring to the notice of the Council of Elders of the NDC the nefarious plot being hatched which has the tendency to split the party in the constituency.
