Dumsor Cornicles: Bernard Mornah Joins #Dumsormuststop Vigil

The General Secretary of the People's National Convention (PNC), Bernard Mornah has said he will join Ghanaian celebrities’s anti-dumsor campaign dubbed “#Dumsormuststop Vigil”.

He described the power crisis as “hell frustrating” after charging the NDC-led Mahama government to find a possible solution to it.

“I will join the celebrities in their campaign, #Dumsormuststop. I am struggling with the situation and it’s now unbearable to all citizenry. It must be solved” he said on Adom FM

According to Bernard Mornah, even though the problem has lasted for years, he is very optimistic that president Mahama will soon fix the problem.

Ghana is currently rationing power, popularly known as Dumsor, due to shortfalls in production. The power crisis, which has been lingering on for three years now, has had adverse effects on human life and the economy.

Over the past few days, some celebrities including Yvonne Nelson, Sarkodie, Lydia Forson, DKB, have expressed their frustrations with the government’s inability to find a lasting solution to the crisis.

The celebrities have announced their intention to hold a vigil on May 16 to put pressure on the government to find a lasting solution to the problem.
