A 45-year-old accountant at the Kintampo Municipal Office of the National Health Insurance Authority has committed suicide.
The body of John Okrah, the police said, was found hanging on a tree in front of an uncompleted building close to his residence on Thursday.
A source at the Municipal Police Command told the Ghana News Agency at Kintampo that preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased personally bought the rope he used to commit the act.
The body has since been deposited at the Kintampo government hospital mortuary.
