Late Asante Kotoko midfielder Michael Asante will be laid to rest today in Kumasi.
 
Asante passed on last month at the Elmina hospital after suffering from an undisclosed ailment.

The 39-year-old will be given a final treat by his family, friends and loved ones today as they bid farewell to the former midfield dynamo.

Asante who was known for his tireless work in midfield left behind his wife and two Children.

He also had stint with Accra Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics.
