AUDIO: Ghanaian Student Wins Best Paper Award In Italy

Mr. Isaac Ankamah-Yeboah, a Ghanaian PhD student at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark has emerged the Best Student Paper Award, 2015.

The award was instituted by the European Association of Fisheries Economist (EAFE) in Salerno, Italy.

Mr. Ankamah-Yeboah, a former student of the University of Ghana and currently pursuing a doctoral programme in Environmental Resource Economics, Fisheries and Aquaculture emerged the best out of the lot for his profound Research work on Organic Aquaculture.

The paper was selected based on the quality of its methodology, attractive story that has policy significance for current management challenges.

Speaking to Kwami Sefa Kayi on Tuesday’s edition of ‘Kokrokoo’ on PeaceFM, Mr Ankamah-Yeboah who had ‘bad results’ at the BECE level, urged people not to give up in their education;

"My grades was very bad but with hardwork and motivation from friends and well-wishers I became better. If you are not good or so good, you should not give up; move forward and it will be better," he said.
