Yvonne Nelson Thinks Handlers Of The Daily Post Newspaper Are Shallow (VIDEO)

Yvonne Nelson was subjected to mockery on the front-page of the Daily Newspaper when handlers of the paper chose to publish two images of her under two different complexions.

The first portrait of a dark-skinned Yvonne was captioned “Dum”; and the second one “Sor” because she appeared lighter compared to the first. The aim of the message was to make the public believe she has bleached her skin.

But the actress in an interview on Peace FM revealed that she is less perturbed to see such publications about her. She offered an explanation as to why people could get colours of her skin under different complexions.

If I should take a picture under light and another with no light, you are going to have two different pictures because of the qualities”.

Isn’t it shallow that people would actually make fun and use that...it means are you behind or something? Don’t you know what is happening? If you take a picture without a flash, it wouldn’t give you the same picture like one taken with a flash”, she said.

After declaring a peaceful war against the Mahama led administration to end the power crisis, the renowned actress has been deemed an enemy of the state by most sympathizers of the National Democratic Congress.
