Alhaji Dori, a staunch member of the National Democratic Congress has lashed out at Sarkodie and Lydia Forson for failing to show up at the much touted ‘Dumsor’ Vigil which came off on 16th May, 2015.

Sarkodie is currently in the United States of America shooting a music video with his Hip pop counterpart Ace Hood, and Lydia Forson is cooling off in Nigeria engaging in her private business.

Hours after the ‘dumsor’ vigil commenced, Alhaji Dori spoke to Peacefmonline.com and wondered why the two celebrities who got “poisoned by the New Patriotic Party” failed to make an appearance.

“If Sarkodie and Lydia Forson believe what started was a good thing, why did they opt out at last? Their absence should inform every Ghanaian that they don’t have the nation at heart”.

The two celebrities together with Yvonne Nelson were supposed to have led some aggrieved Ghanaians in the ‘Dumsor’ Vigil aimed at mounting pressure on the sitting government to solve the unstable supply of power.

But as it stands now, Yvonne Nelson remains a lone ranger in her fight against the Mahama led government.   

Alhaji Dori further explains that his initial thoughts were that the three celebrities with the public at heart would have gone the extra mile to propagate, organize and see to the proper execution of the vigil with themselves as active participants.

But to his dismay, the celebrities who championed the cause only did that to “lure innocent Ghanaians to leave their work and attend the vigil whilst they were guarding their profession”.
