I Was Not Hooted At During #DumsorMustStop Vigil - Alhaji Halidu Haruna

“It is one of the hazards of our job but I must say that I was not hooted at but I quite remember that it was only one man who started inciting some mob action against me but thankfully it didn't see the light of day”.

The above quotation is what the National Democratic Congress (NDC) communicator, Alhaji Halidu Haruna said on Adom TV to debunk claims that he was attacked during the just-ended celebrity dumsor vigil.

Alhaji Halidu however described the campaign against Ghana’s never-ending power crisis dubbed #DumsorMustStop vigil as peaceful.

To Him, reports saying he was hooted at was a total fabrication and called on the public to disregard it.

But Peacefmonline.com reporters at the vigil have in their possession visual evidence of the NDC activist being hooted at the vigil compelling the police to whisk him away.

The successful vigil was led by celebrities including Yvonne Nelson, Van Vicker, DKB, D’Black, Efya among others to protest government's failure to solve the three year old power crisis.
