SSNIT Officer Denies Joining NPP MP Race

An Officer of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), Mr. Kingsley Adjei Manu has debunked allegations of his intention to contest the Bibiani Anhwiaso-Bekwai constituency  seat on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) as was erroneously reported by this paper last month 21st April 2015.

In an interview with this paper to correct the anomaly, Mr. Manu stated that the paper got it all wrong with the name of the constituency he was purportedly contesting and even his position stated as Deputy Human Resource Manager of SSNIT in the reportage.

He said, there is no such position as Deputy Human Resource Manager at SSNIT and he has also never completed, signed or paid any filing fees for nominations which are easily verifiable from the Bibiani Anhwiaso-Bekwai constituency.

Mr. Manu however admitted that a group of prominent persons in the constituency had approached him with the intention to convince him to contest and had even proceeded to pick forms on his behalf but after careful considerations over his job and the new challenge they wanted him to persue, he turned their offer down so there is no point in time where he ever declared his intention to run for the Bibiani Anhwiaso-Bekwai seat.

He said, sadly enough the reportage which was later culled by some online news agencies and other newspaper outlet have done a lot of damage to his office and person and therefore seeks redress from The New Crusading GUIDE on the matter.

The paper hereby apologize for any such damage done to the office of Mr. Kingsley Adjei Manu and his person in the process and hence the corrections made to the Paper’s previous report.
