Prez's Missing Pages Gaffe: This Is A Complete Dereliction Of Duty - Kwamena Duncan

Central Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwamena Duncan has hit hard at President John Dramani Mahama following the embarrassing moment he suffered when he missed some pages of his address during the 47th Ordinary session of ECOWAS.

Addressing his colleague Presidents, President Mahama faced some challenges and and forced to truncate his speech to save himself and the nation from further embarrassment.

Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo", Kwamena Duncan believed the President's gaffe is a true reflection of his "uninspiring leadership."

According to him, President John Mahama normally jokes with serious national issues and so, what happened during the ECOWAS Summit was not far from his usual custom.

Exactly that is how he’s managing this country…does not ensure that indeed I am up to scratch on the details.”

Kwamena Duncan held strongly that the President's paper mix-up is a "complete dereliction of duty."

He also descended on the writers of the President's speech for failing to crosscheck the script before handing it over to President Mahama.

What then was he reading? What was he then doing on the podium? In fact, this is a complete dereliction of duty. President belittled this matter. He made fun of it and that is how indeed he has been managing this country."
