Upper East NPP Chairman Bathed With Acid Passes Away
Information reaching Peacefmonlin.com and confirmed by Sammy Awuku, National Youth Organiser of the NPP indicates that the Upper East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Adams Mahama who is fighting for his life in the Bolgatanga hospital following an acid attack on him is dead.
He was attacked by two assailants who stopped his car whilst he was about entering his house midnight on Wednesday and poured the corrosive substance on his face and entire body.
According to Sammy Awuku, the chairman gave up his life as National Organiser, John Boadu went to the Kotoka International Airport to make preparation to transfer the chairman to Korle-bu for treatment.
