Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is enraged at the killing of the Upper East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mahama Adam.

Mahama Adam died after two assailants poured acid on him. This unfortunate incident is raising tension in the party as some members are pointing accusing fingers at the National Chairman, Paul Afoko and the General Secretary Kwabena Agyapong.

Even though they have come out to deny this accusation, sister of the deceased, Boyaa Mohammed and other members still insists they cannot be exonerated.

A lot of people including flagbearer of the party, Nana Akufo-Addo, Kwabena Agyapong, the General Secretary have condemned the attack and called for calm in the party.

However, Kennedy Agyapong says there is no need to call for calm because the two national executives of the party: Kwabena Agyepong and Paul Afoko, need to face the law.

Speaking on Oman FM, he said: “Afoko, Kwabena Agyepong; they dare not come out…nobody can stop us in this party. In that case we shall collapse the party...if no justice, no peace, I am telling you...Kwabena Agyepong will face the full riguors of the law. Afoko will face it...if they don't face it...you mark it on the wall. I am challenging them. Kwadwo Mpaini, I hope you are now satisfied that Adams is dead...yes, I am accusing them. I hope Kojo Mpiani, Afoko, Kwabena Agyepong are now happy. Kwabena Agyepong, who is he? Who is Afoko? I will show them that we brought them to power…Kwadwo Mpaini and his boss, I have said it...nobody deserves to die in this party. We have brought you to power and now you want to kill us?”
