A diehard member of the opposition New Patriotic Party [NPP], Hajia Fati, is accusing the party’s national chairman, Paul Afoko and general secretary, Kwabena Agyapong of masterminding the acidic bath attack on Adams Mahama.

The Upper East Regional Chairman of the NPP died on Thursday morning after he was attacked with acid by some unidentifiable men while he drove home from a meeting Wednesday night.

He died while the party leadership were making preparation to transport him to Accra [Korle-bu Teaching Hospital] for further treatment.

One person has so far been arrested in connection with the criminal act with the other on the run.

Nonetheless, speaking on OKAY FM’s "Ade Akye Abia" morning show, Hajia Fati who could not hold back her tears hurled curses on Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong for what she described as an “evil” act orchestrated by them.

“Hmm…I just want to go and bury my son [Adams Mahama]…Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong have gotten what they wanted. They have killed my son. I leave them to God. God will punish them severely…they are evil,” she moaned.
