"John Dumelo Has Stopped Talking To Me" - Yvonne Nelson Reveals
Actress Yvonne Nelson has revealed that her best friend actor John Dumelo has stopped talking to her because of the just ended #Dumsormuststop vigil and some exchanges she had with him on social media in the heat of the moment.
Yvonne, the #Dumsormuststop instigator disclosed this in a video interview with pulse.com.gh.
“John came to my house a few days ago when I twitted about him “Kissing ass” and we all laughed over it had a fun time together and I even cooked and he ate, my mum was at home, two days after that, I called John Dumelo he did not pick up and I called him the next day he did not pick up….errrm John did not support my campaign, John hasn’t spoken to me ever since he left my house and I don’t know why”, Yvonne revealed.
Yvonne used the opportunity to reach out to John, describing his attitude as childish “John if you are watching, I think you are just been childish come on now …come on now”.
The “Princess Tyra” actress who is now called Yaa Asantewaa by her fans also revealed that she still has John’s clothes with her so he should come for them “I still have your stuff in my house, your two shirts are in my house. No! They are in my car so meet me and come for it”.
Yvonne called John an ‘ass kisser’, when John said in an interview with Starr FM that Ghanaians should take it easy with President John Mahama over the issue ‘dumsor. According to Yvonne, John has since refused to pick her calls or answer her messages.
It appears Yvonne Nelson had to go through a lot to pull off the #Dumsormuststop vigil as successful as it was. Aside the fervent insults poured on her by fellow celebrities and politicians, Yvonne had to disrespect her mum who wanted her to stop the #Dumsormuststop campaign at the point when the insult became unbearable for her mother but Yvonne didn’t give up. And she is almost losing her best friend and colleague John Dumelo over this same campaign.
Meanwhile, Comedian David Oscar has disclosed in an interview with Graphic Showbiz that despite his recent clash with actress, Yvonne Nelson, and other celebs over the #DumsorMustStop vigil, they both remain good friends and their disagreement on social media will not affect the cordial relationship that exist between them.
