I have today decided to suspend all my political campaign activities for the next three days as a mark of respect for the memory of the late Mahama Adams, Regional Chairman, NPP Upper East Region who died today following a callous assault on his person in Bolgatanga.
I also add my voice to the many who have called for calm while the police investigate this unfortunate incident. It is my prayer that the perpetrators of this heinous crime are apprehended and brought to justice.
I ask all people of faith to say a word of prayer for the repose of his soul.
On behalf of the good people of Subin in Kumasi, I extend my deepest condolences to his immediate and extended families, associates, friends and all members of the NPP.
