NPP Supporters Storm Mahama's Funeral With �Afoko & Kwabena Must Go� Placards

A handful of NPP supporters in the Upper East region have storm their former chairman’s funeral with placards indicating that party’s chairman, Paul Afoko and general secretary, Kwabena Agyapong must leave their post.

The youth believed Mr. Afoko and Kwabena Agyapong orchestrated the acid attack on the Upper East Regional chairman, Adams Maham which led to his death.

Scheduled to be buried today May 23, 2015, the funeral of late Adams Mahama is underway at his residence in Bolga.

Flagbearer and leader of the elephant fraternity, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is at the funeral grounds with other kingpins of the NPP to pay their last respects to Adams Mahama.

Party chairman, Paul Afoko and his secretary, Kwabena Agyapong are believed to have missed the funeral due to security reasons.

Alhaji Adams was attacked with acid by two assailants on Wednesday evening and was confirmed dead at the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital on Thursday morning.
