Ghana’s local Black Stars suffered a 2-1 loss at the hands of Madagascar at the ongoing COSAFA Cup tournament in South Africa.
Maxwell Konadu’s side thus gets eliminated from this year’s tournament after losing at the quarter finals of the competition.
Madagascar forward Rhino Randriamanjaka shot the South Africans in front in the 27th minute before Daniel Darkwah pulled parity 12 minutes later with a fantastic strike.
Jimmy Simouri sealed victory for Madagascar after scoring a late winner to propel his side to the semi-finals of the competition.
