One Week Prayer & Fasting For NPPThat Is What We Need Now Otiko Djaba

The National Women's Organizer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Otiko Afisah Djaba has pleaded with party members to seek God first during the tribulation the party is facing in recent times.

“All NPP sympathizers, supporters, friends, activist, party functionaries and women cry to the Lord to provide divine mercy, wisdom and intervention for our Party. At times of great pain and anguish we must seek Gods counsel and guidance.

“So please form prayer cells wherever you are and join hands to pray daily, Muslims and Christians, for unity in NPP as a sign of respect for our departed brother Adams. For where two or three are gathered in prayer God is in their midst".

 She posted on social media.

Otiko Afisah Djaba however declared one week nationwide fasting and prayer for God to intervene in the party’s latest crisis, stating that it will offer opportunity as well as save the party from losing election 2016.

Madam Djaba was hopeful that by God’s Grace, the party shall overcome its internal crisis.

To her the death of Adams Mahama, Upper East regional chairman of the party is unfortunate but prays that will be a turning point for the NPP.

“With tolerance and the best interest of NPP at the heart of our actions and utterances. Adams death would not be in vain, our words and actions must define our destiny as a Party strengthened to win election 2016. So keep the faith that our battle is indeed still the Lords.”

“…We who are alive by the Grace of God are living history, and we must tell our story meaningfully and effectively, so that we are not found wanting. What unites is more important than the things that divide us,” she said.
