Mahamas Murder Has Thought The NDC A Hardcore Lesson - Alhaji Dori

Despite being a bitter pill to swallow, Adam’s death has served as a sour lesson to all political parties to learn from.

Alhaji Ibrahim Dori, a staunch member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) joined hundreds of mourners last Saturday, for the burial service of the late former Upper East Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Mahama Adams.

It is on this note that Alhaji Dori warned the leadership of the NDC to always make it a priority to properly manage internal conflicts that could develop into worst case scenarios.

“All political parties especially my own party the NDC, must learn from this horrendous act.  Leaders in the NDC must pick early signals of internal agitations from all levels and solve them”, he advised.

In an interview with Peacefmonline.com, Alhaji Ibrahim Dori also urged supporters and sympathisers of the NDC to learn to tolerate and respect the views of others even if they hold a different opinion.

Right from the grassroots to our national executive level, we must all give room for dialogue which is the most effective resolution mechanism for conflict”, he proposed.

He lastly urged the leaders of the NDC to safeguard the peace and security of Ghana and the party by abiding by their party motto: UNITY, STABILITY AND DEVELOPMENT.
