Coup In NPP: What Really Happened In Ashanti Region (AUDIO)

News reports that came from the Ashanti Region indicated that a meeting organized by the Regional Executive Council of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to decide the fate of the National Chairman, Paul Afoko and General Secretary, Kwabena Agyepong, in Kumasi ended inconclusive after some of the executives walked out of the meeting.

The executives were allegedly against a decision to vote on whether or not disciplinary action should be taken against the Chairman and the General Secretary.

However, speaking in an interview on Tuesday, on PEACE FM, the Regional Secretary of the party, Samuel Payne indicated none of the executives walked out of the meeting and that news reports making the rounds as far as their meeting is concerned, are wrong.
