Tony Blair will step down as the representative of the Quartet of Middle East power brokers at the end of June, diplomatic sources say.
Blair, former prime minister of Britain, wrote to Ban Ki-moon, UN secretary-general, on Wednesday that he would step down from the role he has held for eight years.
