Marian Toure Exits Multi TV

One of MultiTV’s budding female talents, Marian Toure is leaving the company 3 years after joining the JoyNews channel as Producer/Director.

It is however unclear where the intelligent beauty is heading next but  sources say she has been linked with some international organisations within the country.

A talented young journalist, Marian Toure is credited with developing and spearheading an innovative and highly watched TV news magazine program on the JoyNews channel, J. N. Interactive, which she also successfully produced and hosted for close to two years.

The passionate broadcaster also took over ‘Chocolate Factor’ on Cine Afrik, which has now been rebranded ‘Joy Prime’, when the show’s first host Victoria Hammer left to pursue her political ambitions. Marian’s wit, charm and command of the English language won her a place on the Multimedia Group’s English radio station, JoyFM, where she sat in as a panel on DriveTalk with Bolaray until the latter left to pursue other things.

Her sultry, baritone voice didn’t go unnoticed as she was later called upon to be the voiceof ‘Airtel Entertainment News’, a ten-minute daily review of the most trending local and international entertainment news, which she did exceptionally well, gaining the admiration of her colleagues and listeners alike.  Prior to working with the group, Marian had held several positions overseas where she also studied for a BA in Marketing. She also holds a MA in Communication Studies.

Marian joined MultiTV in May 2012 and she takes her final bow at the end of the month.
