NPP's Invincible Forces Might Face NEC Sanctions Nana Akomea

Communications Director of the NPP has indicated that the private security personnel stationed at the party’s headquarters is likely to be sanctioned by the National Executive Committee [NEC] of the party.

Nana Akomea described actions by the ‘Invincible Forces’ in recent times as “outrageous” and “unacceptable”.

You can understand that in the heat of matters and emotions they could take that action. They didn’t act properly. So tomorrow they can make the statement that the communications director could not come?…I mean it's so outrageous,” he said.

Hours after the death of NPP’s Upper East Regional Chairman, Adams Mahama, the Invincible Forces [IF] vowed not to allow the two embattled national executives [Paul Afoko and Kwabena Agyepong] access to the party head office believing they masterminded the former's unfortunate demise.

But after party’s flagbearer, Nana Addo had called for calm in the party, they [IF] rescinded their decision.

Speaking on Citi FM, Nana Akomea condemned their actions and maintained the security outfit will face the wrath of party national executives.

When the NEC meets, I’m sure this issue may be brought before them, and when it’s brought before them, I’m sure they will deal with it,” he assured.
