Cassava And Dead Goat More Interesting Topics Than Discussion On Hassan Ayariga - Ken Kuranchie

NPP Okaikoi North Parliamentary Aspirant, Kenneth Adjei Kuranchie has launched a scathing attack on the 2012 presidential candidate for the People’s National Convention (PNC), Hassan Ayariga, for the latter's vitriolic attack on his party's 2016 presidential candidate, Nana Akufo-Addo.

Hassan Ayariga, is said to have gone ballistic on the New Patriotic Party (NPP's) flagbearer over the weekend, describing him as corrupt.

Accra-based Daily Guide newspaper, carried a report in its Monday June 1st Edition, claiming that during a recent visit to the Eastern Regional capital, Koforidua, the 2012 PNC Flagbearer, in what looks like a new wave of vitriolic onslaught, went as far as dragging Nana Addo’s late father, onetime President of Ghana Edward Akufo-Addo, into the equation.

He left out the ruling party, which political observers believed that he was in bed with, and turned his guns on Akufo-Addo, denigrating the NPP presidential candidate and further justified why he had not spared Akufo-Addo his constant vitriolic attacks before some PNC members.

In his attempt to catch votes from the potential delegates of the PNC, Ayariga first suggested that Akufo-Addo did not mean well with his promise to provide ‘free secondary education’ when elected president during the 2012 electioneering campaign.

“I am going to tell you three reasons why I attacked Akufo-Addo …because you have sent me to the war without guns and without ammunitions and I’m going to use my weapons to fight so let me use my weapons and tell you why I fought him,” was his prelude.

Reacting to the speech on Oman Fm’s National Agenda Morning Show, a fuming Ken Kuranchie minced no words in describing the PNC 2012 presidential candidate, as “foolish and stupid” for attacking Nana Akufo-Addo's person.

He wondered how he [Hassan Ayariga] earned his doctorate, and noted that the media should not have paid any attention to the “nonsense” the former PNC leader spewed.

It is unfortunate that this issue has come up for discussion on this platform; I would have wished the Daily Guide had not published this; Hassan Ayariga is very foolish and stupid to make this statement about Nana Akufo-Addo...a kid would not have made such pronouncements,” he fumed.

Vainly, host of the Show, Fiifi Boafo tried to prevent Ken Kuranchie from abusing Mr Ayariga and also retract, but he knew no stopping and further insisted “cassava and dead goat are valuable discussing topics than him; you should have allowed me to heap more abuses on him”.
