NPP Primaries: Errors Must Be Corrected Or - Tema Youth Organiser Yells

NPP's Tema West Youth Organizer, Joseph Buabeng Twumasi has said the party must with immediate effect set accurate some technical errors in its parliamentary primaries process.

Mr. Twumasi has slapped an injunction on the process from the High Court after six aspirants were cleared to contest the primaries by the National Steering Committee.

He is however calling for a review of the law which cleared the six aspirants.

Speaking on Accra-based Kasapa FM morning show, “Anopa Kasapa”, the worried NPP activist opined - “simply procedural errors”.

Adding that “We want the party to as a matter of urgency constitute a National Appeals Board to sit over the case.”

Joseph Buabeng Twumasi expressed optimism that the party will deal with these anomalies quickly, so “they will be able to go ahead and conduct the party primaries”.

However, the party’s chief scribe, Kwabena Agyepong has released a statement indicating that the primaries will not be suspended despite court injunction.

He mentioned, 13th June, 2015 as the date for the primaries.
