Binduri DCE Vows To Enhance BECE Performance In The Area

Lack of effective monitoring and supervision has accounted for poor academic performance among BECE candidates in the Binduri district. For this reason, the District Chief Executive for the area, Daniel Adoliba, has said that the assemble would do all it can to improve the standard of education in the area.

Mr Adoliba was not enthused about the performance of BECE candidates over the years.

He said the outcome of last year's BECE saw only 17% of students scoring a pass mark in all the subjects.

To this effect, Mr. Adoliba hinted that his office is taking steps to ensure a paradigm shift.

Mr Adoliba said the assembly has come out with a road map and is liaising with the district education directorate and other key stakeholders, to improve on the level of education in the district.
